Meet our staff
In order to keep The Pro SMP running smoothly, we have a staff team currently existing of 2 teams: admins and helpers.
Admins
Admins are responsible for managing The Pro SMP, from moderation to maintaining the physical server itself.
In addition to Minecraft or Discord, the admin team can also be contacted by sending an email to admin@theprosmp.com.

* All staff members operate on all our normal (vanilla) servers. Due to technical restrictions, some might not operate on the modded server. If you have concerns about the modded server, please search for a staff member that does operate on modded.
Helpers
Helpers are the assistants of the admins and help with simple tasks like managing the whitelist and helping players with their questions about The Pro SMP. If you need help, do not hesitate to head out to a helper!

Applying for helper/admin
Whenever we are searching for helpers, we will make an announcement on our Discord server with instructions on how to apply (the application process and criteria differ depending on what we are searching for).
In the extremely rare case we are searching for a new admin, we head out to a person who suits the position ourselves.
Please do not ask to become helper! We will inform the community in the announcements channel whenever we are in need of new helpers.
Non-authoritative staff
In addition to our admins and helpers, we also have staff who help with certain parts of The Pro SMP Network without having the permissions that a full staff member has. You cannot contact these people for things like questions about moderation, gameplay issues or questions about our rules (unless the person also is a helper or admin).
Lobby builders
Lobby builders ensure that our lobby always looks good, fresh and up-to-date. Thanks to these people you don’t have to feel bored whenever you’re waiting in the lobby, as they ensure that there are plenty of things to see and do.

Wiki contributors
Wiki contributors are the right hands of the admins when it comes to the place where you are right now: our wiki. They assist them in their duty of maintaining the wiki in order to ensure this is an accurate, accessible and well filled place where you can learn everything about The Pro SMP Network. While we invite everyone to share their feedback about the wiki with us, wiki contributors actively work closely with the admins to take care of this job more regularly.

Applying for a non-authoritative staff position
We value participation of the community, and appreciate all help offered that you offer! That’s why we are always looking for people who can fill non-authoritative staff positions. Do you think you meet the requirements below? Contact an admin!
- You are willing to fill one or multiple non-authoritative staff positions on regular basis;
- You are serious in your work and are motivated to deliver quality;
- We value and expect your feedback, which is why we expect you to not just follow orders given from above but also to act on your own initiative;
- You realize that (even though you aren’t authoritative staff) people will be looking up to you and seeing you as one of the faces of The Pro SMP Network, and so we expect you to be vigilant about following our rules.
