Note: only players with the trusted role or above can use wireless redstone.

Wireless Redstone

Redstone unlocks a huge world of possibilities for every technical Minecraft player. From simple contraptions to the most complex contraptions, you can all build them on our creative server! But what if you wish to build someone using redstone where the distance or shape of your building forms a limit? Meet Wireless Redstone!

On the creative server, everyone with the trusted role can use the /plot flag set redstone true command in order to enable redstone. But this command doesn’t just enable traditional redstone via redstone dust, but it also allows you to place and link redstone senders and transmitters. No more redstone dust and repeaters, no more ugly extensions to your buildings to give room for redstone and no more excessively complicated contraptions to make things such as vertical redstone possible. All it takes is a redstone sender and a redstone receiver.

How to use?

In order to use Wireless Redstone you need to craft a redstone sender and a redstone receiver. To craft these, use the recipes below.

Tip: after crafting you can copy the sender and receiver devices and place them in your inventory, a container or your ender chest for future use without having to manually craft them.

After crafting you’ll immediately notice that the wireless redstone devices are invisible blocks without a collision box. And yes, that is intentionally as it allows you to make more constructions possible even if there is no room available to hide any redstone devices (such as street lights). After placing down the redstone receivers and a redstone sender somewhere on your plot you can simply right-click on them in order to link them together. A redstone sender can be linked to as many receivers as you wish, without any distance limits!

In order to unlink a device, simply just break it.

Limits

You can create as many wireless redstone contraptions as you wish. The only limitation in place is that you can’t link any wireless redstone devices placed by others, despite of the plot trust levels. Additionally in order to avoid overload, wireless redstone senders have a similar burn-out feature in place as redstone torches do.
